A local Human Resources Professional serving small businesses, as needed.
Many small businesses don’t need a full-time Human Resources Officer. That’s where PRISM comes in. Professional HR guidance, workplace solutions, and compliance support can be provided per project.
Raising standards.
Reducing risk.
Protecting what matters.
PRISM Areas of Practice:
Professional Resolutions, Implemented (with) Strategic Management
-
PRISM specializes in strengthening workplace culture through evidence-based Organizational Development practices. I support leaders in identifying morale challenges, addressing interpersonal or workflow issues, and designing practical, ethical solutions that improve day-to-day operations.
This can include:
• Culture audits and morale assessments
• Strategic conflict resolution pathways
• Leadership coaching and communication frameworks
• Restructuring workflows, responsibilities, or team alignment
• Custom documents that capture values, expectations, and professional standards
My background in Organizational Culture studies, my nearly completed Business degree, and my upcoming SHRM-CP certification support PRISM’s qualified approach: ethical, people-first consulting that adapts to your organization’s unique environment.
-
We help employers identify and navigate the requirements that apply to their organization based on location, industry, workforce, business structure, and professional or operational licensing. This may include federal, state, and local employment requirements; industry-specific regulations; worker classification; required workplace policies and documentation; licensing considerations; and applicable regulatory agencies.
PRISM offers small and mid-sized companies a reliable, outsourced option for maintaining HR-compliant processes—without the cost of expanding internal staff. PRISM provides compliance-focused HR consulting and organizational support but does not provide legal advice or legal representation.
-
PRISM provides practical support throughout the employment relationship—from hiring and onboarding through everyday workforce management. Services may include developing policies, handbooks and workplace forms; improving hiring and onboarding processes; supporting documentation and employee relations practices; and creating clear, consistent procedures for attendance, performance, conduct, corrective action, and other day-to-day HR needs. The goal is to give small employers reliable HR infrastructure without requiring a full-time internal HR department.
Meet the Founder
Megan Flanagan
Megan Flanagan, founder of PRISM, built her approach to workplace consulting around a simple but often overlooked idea: most workplace problems are preventable, if you know where to look.
With a background in classroom management, federal funding, and accreditation through high-quality operations, she’s pursuing a business degree with a focus on human resources to provide the best possible strategies for future clients. Megan specializes in identifying the small gaps in policy, communication, and contract language that can quietly expose organizations to conflict, financial loss, or ethical breakdown. Where others see isolated incidents, she sees patterns and designs systems to address them before they escalate. With a focus on strengthening workplace standards, expectations are designed to go beyond bare minimum compliance and support well-structured, high-functioning organizations.
